Job Responsibilities Infrastructure Automation:
Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
CI/CD Enablement:
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployments across environments.
Private Cloud Operations:
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance availability, reliability, and cost efficiency within private cloud environments.
Observability & Monitoring:
Deploy and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., LogicMonitor, CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus) to enable proactive issue detection and response.
Security & Compliance:
Enforce security best practices and ensure adherence to standards related to high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Partner with delivery and application teams to align infrastructure with application and business requirements.
Knowledge Sharing:
Support team development through documentation, code reviews, and sharing of best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive process enhancements and innovation in day-to-day operations.
Operational Excellence:
Maintain strong focus on system quality and performance, especially in production environments, and promptly address any failures.
Maintenance Support:
Participate in after-hours deployments and assist during scheduled maintenance windows.
Critical Skills & Experience Infrastructure Experience:
3+ years working with VMware infrastructure, Windows, and Linux environments, including exposure to hyperconverged systems 3+ years in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering roles supporting production environments in VMware, AWS, or Azure 1+ year of experience with Meraki SD-WAN and foundational networking concepts
Cloud & IaC Expertise:
Hands-on experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or similar
CI/CD & Automation:
Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Containerization & Kubernetes:
Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, or ECS
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Practical experience with observability tools and leveraging metrics to improve system reliability
Security Knowledge:
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing secure access controls and infrastructure policies
