Urgent Requirement Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia System Engineer to lead and support cross-generation and cross-domain multimedia programs from a technical and architectural perspective. The role involves end-to-end ownership of multimedia systems across planning, development, integration, launch, and quality assurance within an automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multimedia product development from planning to release and quality assurance Align vehicle milestones and software release schedules with stakeholders and headquarters (Japan) Define project scope for the North America region considering budget, resources, capabilities, and timelines Manage suppliers for schedule alignment, risk mitigation, and delivery tracking Collaborate with program managers and product owners for risk assessment and decision-making Perform technical triage for in-market issues, including cross-domain system analysis Conduct specification study, user impact analysis, and system architecture reviews Coordinate with quality and factory teams to ensure milestone alignment and issue resolution Develop and execute countermeasure plans for identified risks and system issues
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in multimedia development Strong understanding of automotive multimedia hardware and software architecture Excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint expertise required) Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Ability to work in fast-paced environments with quick decision-making Strong technical and product coordination skills Experience working with design, software, firmware, testing, and manufacturing teams Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Nice to
Have:
Japanese language proficiency Executive reporting experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Note:
This is a critical and urgent requirement. Candidates with relevant multimedia and automotive domain experience are highly preferred.
