Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead with strong expertise in metadata management and hands-on experience with Atlan. The role will focus on enterprise metadata strategy, data lineage, stewardship enablement, governance framework development, and cross-functional governance implementation across enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise metadata, lineage, and stewardship strategy using Atlan Define Atlan operating standards, onboarding frameworks, and governance best practices Establish governance-by-design through integration with enterprise data platforms and pipelines Mentor data stewards on Atlan capabilities, metadata management, and governance processes Act as escalation point for complex cross-domain data governance issues Partner with architecture, security, compliance, and data teams to implement governance controls
Must-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Atlan Data Governance & Metadata Management Data Lineage & Data Stewardship Enterprise Data Catalog implementation
Governance Frameworks & Operating Models Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Collaboration Data Quality, Compliance, and Governance Controls Industry Experience:
Experience working in enterprise data governance environments within Banking, Retail, Healthcare, Technology, or large-scale enterprise organizations preferred
