Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Systems Engineers are interested in developing and testing next generation of optical systems. We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Systems Engineer - P3 to join our SE&TC Systems Engineering Team. An Electro Optical Test engineer designs, develops, and executes test plans for electro-optical (EO) systems and components, focusing on evaluating performance, quality, and reliability through hands-on testing in laboratories and production environments. Key responsibilities include analyzing test data, troubleshooting issues, creating reports, and collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet specifications and standards. This role includes responsibility for engineering activities such as integration, testing and troubleshooting. In addition, the responsible engineer needs to be an effective communicator, decision maker, and a strong advocate for system engineering, integration, and test. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions while working autonomously with limited oversight. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together, supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. This position requires technical expertise and the ability to make decisions independently to drive the success of complex projects. This is an onsite position at Raytheon in McKinney, Texas. What We Are Looking For Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
