Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable platform engineering solutions that enable modern software delivery, cloud-native application development, and enterprise automation capabilities. This role will focus on building automated delivery platforms, infrastructure as code solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and developer enablement tooling across enterprise cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native platform engineering solutions and automation frameworks. Build and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Pipeline as Code, and Policy as Code solutions. Develop and maintain event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, command-line interfaces, and self-service developer portals. Support automated software delivery platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and developer enablement initiatives. Implement and maintain automation and dependency management frameworks. Ensure platform solutions are covered by unit, security, governance, and functional testing practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate application delivery and operational efficiency. Deploy and manage DevOps tooling including Jenkins, monitoring solutions, logging platforms, and source code management systems. Support cloud-based infrastructure and platform deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. Assist with serverless and container-based architecture implementations. Support networking and infrastructure services including DNS, VPN, cloud networking, security, and load balancing. Participate in cloud orchestration development, peer reviews, and architecture discussions. Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability activities across distributed environments. Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, governance, and operational support initiatives. Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of coding experience using Python, TypeScript, or Golang. Minimum 1 year of scripting experience using Bash or PowerShell. Minimum 4 years of networking experience including security, DNS, VPN, cloud networking, and load balancing. Minimum 4 years of systems administration experience with Linux or Windows operating systems. Minimum 1 year of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevOps principles. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience with CI/CD implementation and automation. Minimum 1 year of experience with serverless or container-based architectures. Minimum 1 year of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience. Experience contributing to cloud orchestration and automation codebases. Experience deploying and managing DevOps tools such as Jenkins, monitoring platforms, logging systems, and source control management tools. Familiarity with advanced networking troubleshooting including tcpdump and network flow analysis. Understanding of federated authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
