Yokogawa Corporation of America seeks Control Systems Engineers in Sugar Land, TX. Perform engineering support activities in the areas of industrial control, process automation, and data acquisition systems. Contribute to small to mid-sized automation projects by assisting in technical coordination and implementation activities. Prepare and modify system documentation including hardware design packages, Bills of Materials, test procedures, and other required engineering documentation under established project guidelines. Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system deployment, and site acceptance activities at customer locations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control system applications, hardware components, and network connectivity. Perform system health checks and preventive maintenance services for installed automation systems. Implement system upgrades and migration activities for industrial automation platforms and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC) following established technical standards. Configure servers, workstations, and virtualization platforms to support control system applications in accordance with predefined specifications. Assist in implementing network security configurations such as Active Directory integration, patch management, and backup and recovery procedures. Requires a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology in Management, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent. Requires 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial control systems, process automation, or field engineering.
