Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect for Oracle Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) to lead solution design, integrations, and technical governance across a complex retail environment. The architect will define scalable, secure, and high-performing MFCS solutions that enable operational efficiency and accurate merchandising data. Key Responsibilities Design endtoend technical architecture for Oracle MFCS and related Oracle Retail modules (RDS, SACS, ORPCS, ORIMCS). Lead integration design using enterprise middleware platforms. Drive MFCS extensions, custom validations, and performanceoptimized PL/SQL logic. Define data migration, conversion, and reconciliation strategies. Establish cloud and architecture best practices for availability, security, and performance. Partner with business SMEs, functional teams, and engineers to deliver highquality solution designs. Required o Oracle Retail, with strong experience in
MFCS/RMS.
o Strong knowledge of foundation data, item induction, purchasing, costing, and inventory processes. o Deep experience with integrations to ERP, POS, WMS, ecommerce, and finance systems. o Handson
PL/SQL, API
design, and performance engineering skills. o Ability to create architecture blueprints and translate business needs into technical solutions. o Experience with OCI, Kafka/Event Hub, Springboot is good to have. o Retail domain experience in specialty, beauty, grocery, or apparel. o Excellent Communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills o Excellent Client/Stakeholder Management skills o Excellent grasp of the system and able to comprehend it and convert it into design, and guide the teams on design and build o Detail and Process Oriented Performer and Go-getter o Effectively identifies the potential risks and issues even before they could occur, and communicates the same, follows them up with various stakeholders to get closure on them. o Exhibits excellent Leadership traits to set the standards of Lead by Example o Mentors, inspires, and nurtures the teams (offshore and onsite) to effectively build great teams, and knows when to delegate. o Must have an eye for detail to do the technical reviews of various deliverables. o Must have played the role of onsite lead in at least one of the large-scale Telco Engagement Preferred As a Technical Architect, the person should have an overall experience of 8-10 years. Relevant experience of 4-6 years spanning across various implementation/ maintenance/support /extension Projects in Oracle Retail in various roles.
