Title:
Cloud Software Engineer (W2)
Introduction:
The Cloud Software Engineer (W2) will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Kafka, Jenkins, and Oracle/DB2 databases. This role requires hands-on experience with various cloud services, containerization, API development, SQL query writing, and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Python Utilize AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3 Implement and manage Kubernetes/EKS clusters Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform Integrate and work with Kafka for real-time data streaming Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Monitor application performance using Datadog Collaborate with team members to implement DevOps practices Write SQL queries against Oracle and DB2 databases Participate in agile development processes
Requirements:
Must Have:
Python coding AWS EKS Terraform Oracle, DB2, write SQL queries against
Oracle DB Kafka Jenkins Datadog Preferred Skills:
Experience with Agile methodologies Knowledge of RESTful APIs Familiarity with SaaS applications Understanding of Docker and containerization Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
