Description:
You will be the Software Engineer, System Test for the F-22 Systems Integration and Test team which is responsible for delivering automated test solutions for F-22 modernization. What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer, System Test you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test plans that validate system‑level integration of F‑22 capabilities.Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, coding, and maintaining test scripts for system integration. Coordinating test assets and environments across virtual development labs. Executing automated test runs, troubleshooting failures, and debugging scripts. Verifying functional integration of modernization capabilities against requirements. Supporting technical planning and continuous improvement of test processes. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline (preferred: Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering).
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g. python)
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) / Object-Oriented Design (OOD) techniques
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting software releases
- Experience in systems engineering development and integration processes
- Experience with version control systems, such as GitHub or Bitbucket
- Familiarity with requirements decomposition
- Familiarity with system analysis
- Familiarity with simulation systems
- Familiarity with Atlassian Tools, such as Jira or Confluence
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and/or hands on experience
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with integrated development environments
- Experience in Mission Systems capabilities within aircraft platforms
- Self-driven with robust problem-solving skills

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
