This role is responsible for ensuring that all system components work together effectively to meet performance, functionality, compliance, and customer driven objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with requirements management, system architecture, integration, verification and validation, risk management, and technical documentation within a regulated engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and project stakeholders to gather, define, document, and manage system level requirements. Support requirements development and traceability using tools such as DOORS, JAMA, or similar requirements management platforms. Develop and maintain system designs, architectures, and technical concepts that meet project requirements while balancing performance, cost, schedule, risk, and technical feasibility. Support system architecture development using tools such as Visio, MBSE tools, or other model based systems engineering platforms. Coordinate with cross functional engineering teams to ensure compatibility, interoperability, and proper integration of system components. Oversee and support system integration activities to confirm that the complete system functions as intended and meets defined performance criteria. Plan and support verification and validation activities, including inspection, analysis, testing, and demonstration. Ensure system designs and deliverables meet applicable program, regulatory, safety, quality, and compliance requirements. Identify technical risks, evaluate potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project execution. Create, maintain, and review technical documentation, including interface control documents, system specifications, statements of work, compliance records, and supporting engineering documentation. Communicate technical information clearly to engineering teams, program leadership, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications Experience in systems engineering, requirements management, system architecture, integration, verification and validation, or related engineering functions. Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure system level performance and compatibility. Familiarity with requirements tools such as DOORS, JAMA, or similar platforms. Experience with system design, architecture documentation, MBSE concepts, or technical diagramming tools. Strong understanding of verification and validation methods, including inspection, analysis, test, and demonstration. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, interface documentation, specifications, and compliance records. Strong communication, problem solving, organizational, and cross functional coordination skills. Experience working in a regulated, safety critical, aerospace, defense, transportation, or complex product development environment is preferred.
