?C.5.3.13; holds privileged administrative authority over infrastructure resources, directs secure migration strategy, and leads RMF/ATO lifecycle activities (control implementation, eMASS documentation, POA&M management). Ensures 24/7 operational continuity, high availability design, and disaster recovery alignment. This position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that support mission systems and modernization goals. Lead or support migration planning, infrastructure design, and architecture decision-making. Coordinate with security, operations, and engineering teams to align architecture to compliance and availability needs. Support documentation, recovery planning, and long-term cloud optimization. Basic Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience. Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15+ yrs). Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role. For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award. Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment. Hands-on experience with tools, platforms, or engineering practices relevant to the role. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-native engineering, application delivery, automation, or reliability engineering, as applicable to the role. Familiarity with secure software delivery, testing, DevSecOps, or performance engineering practices. Experience supporting modernization efforts in regulated or mission-critical environments. Work Setting This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on-site support as required by the customer.
