Systems Engineer

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES

As a systems engineer for the Fire Control Program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for supporting the strategic deterrence program by maintaining lab systems in a constant state of operational readiness, performing active troubleshooting and corrective actions to resolve technical issues and sustain lab availability. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to ancillary projects and initiatives that directly enhance and expand mission capability in support of the broader deterrence program. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Hands-On Electrical Troubleshooting in a Lab or Test Environment, Experience Supporting Weapons Systems or Strategic Programs, and Preventative & Corrective Maintenance background are prefered for this position.
