Job Description

Position SummaryECS is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will lead systems engineering activities that are crucial for enterprise application integration and architecture design. This role is pivotal in ensuring that solutions align with ARNG mission priorities, enterprise architecture standards, and cybersecurity controls, while also supporting cloud migration objectives. The Systems Engineering Lead will oversee technical design reviews and system documentation, ensuring lifecycle engineering support is in alignment with DoD and ARNG technical guidance.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

ResponsibilitiesLead systems engineering efforts for enterprise application integration and architecture design.

Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture standards and ARNG mission priorities.

Oversee technical design reviews and the development of system documentation.

Optimize system performance and sustainment across the enterprise.

Coordinate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF control implementation.

Support modernization and cloud migration initiatives while maintaining operational continuity.

Evaluate system requirements and develop technical solutions for complex environments.

Guide system implementation activities in alignment with operational objectives.

Compliance:
DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+,
CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSECEducation:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering within DoD or Federal IT environmentsProven experience in leading enterprise application integration and architecture design initiativesDemonstrated ability to ensure system interoperability across complex enterprise environmentsExperience in conducting technical design reviews and developing engineering documentationAbility to support configuration management discipline and operational continuity
