ECS is seeking aSystems Engineer

Monitor, manage a VMWare Horizon View/Nutanix VDI environment, ESXi/vCenter 8Support third party application installations and monitoring softwareCreate, update virtual template images to support Windows Server deployment, Windows 11 and Red Hat Linux VDIsEvaluate/Harden Windows Servers and workstations to DoD STIG standards, including installed softwareEstablish system development and integration methodologies and standardsConstruct and test systems in the development environmentIntegrate and implement systems and the supporting infrastructure in the operational environmentMonitor and analyze performance problems and recommend solutions to enhance functionality, reliability, and usabilityDevelop transition strategies and plans to transition from legacy systemsParticipate in project/program management reviews and document creationMeet 24/7 on-call duties over weekend/holidays as-necessaryActive Secret clearance8+ years of experience in Information Technology with increasing responsibilities in an enterprise server infrastructure focusing on systems engineering and integration in a DoD environment7+ years supporting a large Windows environment and extensive server experience5+ years supporting a large VMware environment and extensive virtualization experienceMicrosoft Certified Solutions Associate (2016/2019)
  • VMware Certified Professional (Datacenter Virtualization)
  • SAN Configuration and maintenance
  • Current Security+CE certification/8570 compliant certificateGood verbal and written communication skills a must
