Platform Engineer -
AWS Cloud Job Summary:
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms supporting enterprise migration from on-premise environments. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, automation, container platforms, DevSecOps, and self-service enablement.
Responsibilities:
Build and manage AWS infrastructure including VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, networking, and storage. Develop secure cloud platform solutions aligned with Landing Zone, Zero Trust, and compliance requirements. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. Create reusable IaC modules, CI/CD workflows, and self-service deployment solutions. Manage container platforms (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes) and cloud-native services. Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and reliability engineering practices. Support hybrid cloud connectivity, workload migration, and platform operations. Collaborate with Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Application teams.
Required Skills:
Strong AWS infrastructure experience (Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM, Monitoring). Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. Experience with ECS/EKS/Kubernetes and container technologies. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automation. Experience with observability tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, or Datadog. Understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and cloud best practices.
Preferred:
AWS certifications, Kubernetes certification, or Terraform certification. Experience with VMware-to-AWS migration, Service Mesh, API Gateway, and SRE practices.
