Job Description:
Desktop System Engineer Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware for end users. Provide L2/L3 technical support for desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral-related issues. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and endpoint security in coordination with IT policies. Troubleshoot OS issues (Windows/macOS), software conflicts, network connectivity, and performance problems. Deploy patches, updates, antivirus solutions, and ensure systems comply with security standards. Support IT asset management, including tracking, inventory, and lifecycle management of devices. Assist in onboarding/offboarding users, including system setup and data migration. Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to ensure smooth IT operations and minimal downtime.
