Firmware Test Engineer

Job Title:

Firmware Test Engineer Responsibilities Participate in daily stand-up meetings to review progress, discuss issues from the previous day, and plan upcoming test activities. Collaborate closely with firmware development engineers to understand requirements, design intent, and test coverage needs for embedded battery-related systems. Take test stories from the backlog, analyze requirements, and design comprehensive test cases for embedded firmware. Develop and execute automated functional tests for embedded software, ensuring they accurately validate specified requirements. Convert existing manual test cases into automated test scripts using Python or Matlab to improve efficiency and repeatability. Verify that automated tests run correctly, analyze test results, and confirm that tests are sufficient to validate the intended functionality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
