Job Description

We are looking for a skilled M365 Infrastructure Engineer to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This position will focus heavily on overseeing the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, driving Azure adoption, and supporting essential infrastructure projects. As part of this long-term contract, you will contribute to architectural design, administration, and troubleshooting efforts while providing guidance to less experienced team members and ensuring high system reliability.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and security configurations.
  • Lead and support the ongoing Microsoft 365 migration project in collaboration with external consulting teams.
  • Administer and manage Azure Active Directory, conditional access policies, and cloud security governance.
  • Oversee VMware environments for on-premises workloads, including virtual machine provisioning and performance tuning.
  • Manage backup operations using Veeam and Rubrik, ensuring disaster recovery readiness and daily verification.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, improve system efficiency, and enhance reliability.
  • Support Azure cloud infrastructure, driving enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform regular system health checks, backup verifications, and proactive monitoring of infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues while providing guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop infrastructure roadmaps and implement best practices.
