Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Represent the Firmware team throughout the design control process—from requirements development and design planning through release. Lead the definition of integration requirements, verification planning, verification execution and manage controlled integration activities across subsystems. Drive Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and enable continuous testing workflows to strengthen product quality and development efficiency. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across sites to identify and manage technical program risks, dependencies, integration risks, and design trade‑offs. Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and support Design History File (DHF) release. Demonstrate leadership in Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy development, planning, and execution. Serve as the ALM administrator to facilitate effective requirements and test management for the team. Exhibit strong debugging skills across hardware, firmware, and software boundaries, accompanied by clear technical communication and documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 10+ years of technical experience and established technology-leadership credentials across disciplines and functions. Strong experience in the design, development, and integration of hardware, software, and system-level solutions—preferably within medical device domains such as CT or MR. Expert-level ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, influence technical and strategic decisions, and maintain a long-term, strategic perspective. Demonstrated track record of delivering on project goals while meeting requirements for quality, performance, and schedule. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess data objectively, anticipate obstacles, and develop effective mitigation plans. Working knowledge of tools such as ALM, ClearQuest, and Rally. Desired Characteristics Ability to work effectively with global teams, including flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones.
