Position:
The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for all tasks required in being the first and last line of defense in protecting the organization's infrastructure and data from cyber-attacks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM systems to detect, respond, and mitigate security threats. Implement and manage EDR solutions to safeguard endpoint devices and detect advanced threats. Perform vulnerability assessments and manage software patching processes to ensure all systems are up-to-date and secure. Assist in maintaining and improving the organization's GRC processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct threat analysis, forensic investigations, and security incident response to mitigate risks and resolve issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and improve the security posture. Maintain accurate documentation of security protocols, incidents, and procedures. Stay current with emerging security threats, tools, and best practices.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field; or any combination of relevant education, experience, and certifications, required. Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of IT, including hardware, software, and networks. Knowledge of current industry standard cyber security software. (i.e., SIEM software, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Two-Factor authentication software) The following certifications are a plus: A+ Network+ ISC2 Certified in Cyber Security CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Pentest+ CompTIA CYSA+
CompTIA Security Analytics Professional CompTIA Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional CompTIA Network Security Professional Qualifications:
