U.S. Citizenship required Summary/Objective Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. Essential Functions Identify, assess, and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities using automated tools in accordance with DoD requirements. Manage the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program, leading remediation efforts to address identified security risks in accordance with DoD requirements. Oversee the organization's 2-letter Incident Response Program; develop and maintain related policies and documentation. Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) and directives issued by the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN). Translate customer requirements into project plans, schedules, and milestones while ensuring quality and compliance. Exercise sound judgment to support decision-making in dynamic operational environments. Conduct quality assurance reviews of cybersecurity policies, documentation, and deliverables. Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings for leadership and stakeholders. Use research, open-source tools and cybersecurity platforms (ACAS, ESS, Tanium, SIEM, eMASS) to troubleshoot issues, generate reports and identify effective solutions in support of operational needs. Collaborate with government and contract partners to minimize organizational risk. Train and develop junior employees while pursuing advanced cybersecurity knowledge and skills. Demonstrates competent knowledge of the Risk Management Framework, Computer Network Defense, and Vulnerability Mgmt. Delivers quality products that require minimal modification.
Required Education and Experience Education:
Bachelors in STEM / Cyber-related field or equivalent from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of cyber technical experience Acceptable alternative: Bachelor's Degree in other than STEM / Cyber-related field with 7 years DoD cyber technical experience and knowledge demonstrated in missile defense related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects Acceptable alternative: Associates Degree in STEM / Cyber-related field w/ 10 years DoD cyber experience and knowledge demonstrated in cyber and missile defense related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects IAT II Certification prior to accepting position Must have technical certification or 2 years' experience with McAfee Endpoint Security, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Splunk, and / or experience implementing network / enclave / system security toolsets with experience reviewing
