Cyber Defense Specialist, Consultant Blue Shield of CA United States, California, Long Beach 3840 Kilroy Airport Way (Show on map) May 27, 2026 Your Role The Information Security team is looking for a certified security professional to join our fast paced, collaborative, and diverse team of talent. Our mission is to provide operationally excellent next-generation information security event monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response services that protect Blue Shield from adverse cyber events. The Cyber Defense Specialist, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager of Information Security Operations. In this role you will work with a high-functioning security operations team utilizing industry leading technology to fine-tune security event monitoring establishing high-fidelity incident response through root cause analysis and lessons learned corrective action plans.
