Your Mission:
The Cyber Security Architecture Analyst II provides consultative cybersecurity architecture guidance across enterprise initiatives. This role focuses on defining and reviewing security architecture standards, performing threat modeling and architecture assessments, and ensuring security controls are integrated into technology solutions. This position operates primarily in architecture and advisory capacity, daily hands-on security architecture operations.
What You Will Do:
Define, document, and promote consistent cybersecurity architecture standards, patterns, and requirements. Perform security architecture reviews for new and existing projects to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards. Conduct threat modeling and architecture assessments to identify risks and recommend appropriate controls. Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts, including standards, guidelines, and reference architectures. Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) forums as a cybersecurity architecture representative. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to enable secure-by-design solutions. Identify opportunities to improve or standardize security architecture across cloud, application, API, and infrastructure domains.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information technology roles. Knowledge of security architecture and core security principles across network, system, and application domains. Experience reviewing technical designs and identifying security risks and mitigation strategies.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
Experience supporting security architecture or engineering initiatives in an enterprise environment. Familiarity with security frameworks or standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, PCI DSS). Exposure to cloud security, application security, or API security. Security-related certifications are a plus but not required.
