30 % Our cybersecurity test team is searching for that can help form and manage multi-skilled test team members and efforts to conduct system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilities as an SME Aircraft and Munitions Cybersecurity Test Manager . We are looking for people that can bring a strong foundation in one of the listed areas and are motivated to learn the others. Position responsibilities can span program management to cybersecurity testing. This position provides support to the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL, and the DOD Cybersecurity community, to plan and conduct Cybersecurity Developmental and Operational Test & Evaluation for major DOD programs. This position requires in-office work, with some flexibility to work out of the office environment and is subject to current requirements. When executing test events, work hours can be extended and may vary. Test events are typically 5-10 days in length. Currently 2-3 days per week in the office, when not testing. Test schedule is typically 1-2 weeks per month but varies. Astrion has worked extensively with the Department of Defense executing a Technical Management and Advisory Service contract where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Regarded within the community of interest as a Subject Matter Expert in cybersecurity penetration testing. This skill level will oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of staff assigned to a specific job. An active Secret security clearance is required for consideration, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. (U.S. Citizenship Required) Air Force acquisition project management experience. Experience designing and implementing test strategies for DOD software or hardware tests. Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders to define project scope, maintain project status, develop schedules and budgets, and develop project documentation. Effective oral and written communications skills, good interpersonal communications skills and be comfortable working in a team environment. Proficient in the use and integration of MS Office Word, Excel and Power point applications. Possess excellent time management skills. Must be capable of traveling to TDY locations as needed. Travel up to 15-20 weeks per year, potentially to worldwide sites. Ability to work effectively in small and large team settings to solve complex problems.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Experience with DoD development and/or operational testing. Experience with aircraft and/or weapon systems testing/evaluation. Understanding of network security/engineering.

Certifications:

CISSP, CASP, or Security+. Job experience in Aircraft and/or Weapon systems architecture/avionics/embedded systems. Passionate about cybersecurity and delivering products that exceeds expectations. Exceptional leadership skills. Exceptional organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. Insatiable drive to understand unique technologies. Excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversight of cyber test events, to include test planning, coordination, execution, data reduction, analysis, and reporting. Track test requirements for team and assist team in meeting those requirements. Attend meetings with customers to help test team prepare for events. Document and communicate test results effectively to technical and non-technical user groups in written and oral formats. Develop test strategies for cybersecurity testing on DoD aircraft and weapon systems. Coordinate security analysis activities on systems and/or software to understand and identify potential vulnerabilities. Provide technical guidance and expertise to test teams. #CJ #LI-AD1
