Accenture Security is one of the fastest growing areas of our business, and our global Cyber Investigation and Forensic Response (CIFR) practice is at the heart of how we help clients prepare for, respond to, and recover from the most consequential cyber incidents. Within CIFR, our Crisis Readiness practice helps organizations build the governance, strategies, and plans needed to navigate disruption with confidence. The team partners with senior executives across industries to strengthen crisis preparedness, guide real-time incident response, and drive post-incident improvement.
You Are:
A detail-oriented consultant who is passionate about helping organizations become more resilient. You bring a solid foundation in security fundamentals and strategy execution, with incident response and crisis management experience preferred, and you are eager to deepen that expertise through hands-on client delivery. You work closely supporting senior advisors to execute cyber resilience engagements and produce high-quality deliverables that earn client trust.
The Work:
Support the end-to-end delivery of IR readiness engagements under the guidance of the Crisis Readiness Manager, ensuring deliverables are on time, on budget, and of the highest quality Develop and maintain crisis readiness deliverables including readiness playbooks, response plans, and assessment reports tailored to client environments Assist in the design and facilitation of crisis readiness simulations, tabletop exercises, and workshops, including scenario development, logistics coordination, participant briefings, and post-exercise reporting Lead workshops and client calls as needed, with support from senior team members Support active incident response efforts by coordinating logistics, documenting decisions and actions, tracking workstreams, and preparing situation reports for senior stakeholders Represent the practice with professionalism and adaptability in high-stakes, client-facing situations Support development, implementation, and management of cybersecurity programs and strategies, including rapid identification and resolution of improvement opportunities Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's What You Need:
Minimum 2 years of experience in crisis management, business continuity, incident response, or a closely related advisory discipline Minimum 1 year of experience supporting senior management on deliverable execution Minimum 2 years of experience developing client-facing deliverables such as plans, playbooks, assessments, or reports Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus Points If:
You hold relevant certifications such as CBCP, CRISC, CISSP, or similar credentials in crisis management, business continuity, or cybersecurity You have experience designing or facilitating tabletop exercises and crisis simulations You have built or maintained runbooks and readiness playbooks for enterprise environments You have strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences You have client-facing consulting experience in cybersecurity or incident/crisis management Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
