CYBER ANALYST I
at our Fort Gordon, GA location. Position Summary Cyber Analysts support a 24/7 operation and are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining data and information for national security. The role is tasked with identifying vulnerabilities within systems, resolving them, and then responding to cybersecurity breaches when they occur.
Job Responsibilities Threat Detection and Prevention :
Identifypotentialsecuritythreatsanddevelopstrategiestomitigaterisks.

Thisincludesmonitoringnetworkactivityandanalyzingsecurityincidents.
Security Implementation :
Designandimplementsecuritysystemstoprotectsensitivedataandinformationsystemsfromunauthorizedaccessandcyberattacks.
Incident Response :
Respondtosecuritybreachesandincidents,conductingforensicinvestigationsanddocumentingfindingstoimprovefuturesecuritymeasures.
Collaboration :
WorkwithITteamsandmanagementtoensurecompliancewithsecuritypoliciesandregulations,andtoeducateemployeesonbestsecuritypractices.
Continuous Improvement :
Stayupdatedonthelatestcybersecuritytrendsandtechnologiestoenhancetheorganization'ssecurity Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IFSM or Cybersecurity Minimum 10 years of relevant experience Knowledge in Open Systems Implementation (OSI), Layer 7 - Application and Layer 3 - Network Superb understanding of ITIL 4 Foundation CiscoCertifiedInternetworkExpert(CCIE)certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification CiscoCertifiedNetworkProfessional (CCNP)certification Proficiencyinsecurityprotocols,networkarchitecture,andprogramminglanguage.

Familiaritywithsecuritytoolsandsoftwareisessential.

Strongproblem-solvingabilitiesandattentiontodetailtoeffectivelyanalyzesecuritythreatsandvulnerabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members and management.
