As an integral member of the team, you will help safeguard ESI's critical data and IT infrastructure by monitoring security tools, supporting incident response efforts, and contributing to ongoing compliance activities. Under the guidance of the Information Security Manager, you will gain hands-onexperience in identifying potential threats, assessing risks, and strengthening the organization's overall security posture. Competitive 401k match Lucrative bonus potential Great upward mobility for career growth Responsibilities Monitor security events and alerts using tools such as SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint protection platforms, including triage of phishing emails and other user-reported incidents. Assist in the investigation and documentation of security incidents. Support IT and security teams in responding to low-level threats or suspicious activity . Help conduct routine vulnerability scans and track findings. Assist with user awareness programs, including phishing simulations and training sessions. Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and help reinforce best practices. Participate in regular audits and assessments to support compliance requirements. Keep documentation up to date for security tools, processes, and procedures. Stay current on basic cybersecurity trends and threats through ongoing learning and training. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing final semester) in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity, help desk, IT support, or related technical role. Security certification a plus (CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, SANS GSEC) Basic understanding of information security concepts, such as firewalls, malware, phishing, and network protocols. Familiarity with or willingness to learn about common security tools (e.g., antivirus, SIEM, endpoint protection). . Strong interest in a career in cybersecurity. Good attention to detail and analytical thinking. Strong communication and team-oriented attitude.
