The RoleAre you a tech-savvy problem-solver with a passion for ensuring optimal network performance? If so, look no further - Kyndryl is seeking a Network Support Specialist who will be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks. As our Palo Alto Firewall Engineer, you'll be working in a complex, multi-vendor environment, and will use your analytical skills to identify and resolve network issues, make configuration changes, and implement security policies. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, test and apply corrective actions (including emergency changes), and participate in change reviews as needed. And with the ever-changing nature of technology, you'll be constantly learning and growing in your role.

You will work alongside a talented team of experts to plan and execute routine network changes, troubleshoot and solve network issues and outages, and maintain excellent communication with our end customers, project managers, and service engineers. You'll be responsible for maintaining network components, monitoring network performance, and maintaining network security. You will also be providing user support for network-related issues, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support possible.

ResponsibilitiesImplement, configure, and support Palo Alto firewalls (PAN‑OS, Panorama) in enterprise environments.

Manage firewall security policies, NAT rules, and address/service objects in line with security standards.

Configure and support VPN solutions (IPSec, GlobalProtect).Perform troubleshooting and resolution of firewall and network security incidents.

Execute approved change requests following ITIL and change management processes.

Monitor firewall health, logs, and traffic flows; support rule optimization and cleanup activities.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaborate with network, security, and operations teams to restore services and improve stability.

Escalate complex issues appropriately and support senior engineers during major incidents.

Participate in on‑call rotations and support activities as required.

Who You AreRequired Skills & Experience3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Palo Alto Networks NGFWs.

Working knowledge of PAN‑OS, firewall policies, NAT, and security zones.

Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec and/or GlobalProtect).Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and network security fundamentals.

Experience working in IT service delivery environments with defined SLAs.

Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL-based).Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
