Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead high-impact strategic cybersecurity initiatives that support and enhance clinical, operational, and administrative systems across the organization. This individual will be responsible for managing complex security-focused projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, technical teams, operational stakeholders, and clinical partners to drive cybersecurity initiatives that strengthen organizational security posture while supporting business and patient care objectives. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage one or more enterprise-level cybersecurity initiatives simultaneously.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, infrastructure, security, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings, provide status updates, and communicate risks and dependencies to leadership.
  • Lead projects through cybersecurity and security architecture review processes.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support implementation of cybersecurity controls, policies, and operational improvements.
  • Translate technical cybersecurity concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting for senior leadership and C-level executives.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and consensus across diverse teams and departments. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise technology or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing projects through formal cybersecurity and security review processes.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT infrastructure, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience working within healthcare, highly regulated, or enterprise environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate project goals, timelines, and security-related concepts.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and facilitating decision-making among diverse stakeholder groups. Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and governance standards.
  • Experience working with clinical, operational, and administrative technology systems.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or cybersecurity-related certifications are a plus.
