Cybersecurity Analyst Aqueduct Technologies - 3.3 Canton, MA Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Cloud provider security services Endpoint Security Implementing network security tools Stakeholder engagement Bachelor's degree Customer engagement Full Job Description As a member of our Security Operations Team, you will support the delivery of trusted security services to Aqueduct customers under the direction of Security Operations leadership. You will assist with managing multiple client environments, help customers mitigate threats and vulnerabilities, and strengthen overall security posture. You will contribute to programs related to Managed Threat Detection and Response (MTDR), Microsoft Security Operations, and security assessments while collaborating with customers who subscribe to Aqueduct services. Your work will help protect Aqueduct customers, reinforcing the trust they place in us every day.
Core Responsibilities:
Analyze and review security alerts, logs, and incidents using Managed Detection and Response (MDR) tools under the guidance of Security Operations leadership. Support and conduct monthly security reviews for Aqueduct SecOps customers. Assist in the administration, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 security capabilities. Support penetration testing activities, including evidence collection, documentation, and report preparation. Work with customers to identify and proactively mitigate security vulnerabilities under supervision and established procedures. Document customer security control effectiveness and escalate improvement recommendations through the Security Operations team. Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats and security trends through training, mentorship, and structured development within the Security Operations team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1-2 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field. Demonstrated commitment to developing cybersecurity knowledge, with a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking fundamentals, and security operations concepts. Knowledge of, or hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 security capabilities, and related Microsoft security solutions. Basic understanding of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) concepts; experience operating security tools is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Takes accountability for assigned work, asks thoughtful questions, and reliably drives tasks to completion. Demonstrates a positive, adaptable, and customer-focused approach when responding to changing priorities, evolving threats, and new technical challenges. Strong motivation to learn, take direction, and grow within the cybersecurity field. Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
