The SOC Analyst II will join a global technology leader dedicated to connecting and protecting organizations through innovative, AI-powered solutions that drive secure and resilient digital experiences. This position is a long-term open-ended contract opportunity, and the SOC Analyst II will need to sit on site in the Fulton, Maryland area 2 days a week.Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II
- Use Splunk to analyze, review, and respond to security alerts.
- Conduct Tier 2 incident investigations and escalate issues as needed.
- Leverage security tools including Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config.
- Monitor and secure AWS cloud environments. Requirements for the SOC Analyst II
- Secret Clearance
- Experience using Spunk alert analysis
- Experience with AWS and Cloud Security
- Experience working as a Tier 2 SOC Analyst
- Experience with Tenable, Defender, and AWS Config
