Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a SOC Analyst II
- Secret Clearance in Fulton, MD. This SOC Analyst II
- Secret Clearance will join a networking systems organization and be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, playing a critical role in protecting infrastructure and sensitive data. The SOC Analyst II
- Secret Clearance role requires strong technical and analytical skills in a hybrid setting, with a requirement to work onsite two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in Fulton, MD. Responsibilities for the SOC Analyst II
- Secret Clearance include: Monitor, review, and respond to security alerts using Splunk, identifying and escalating threats when necessary Perform Tier 2 incident investigations, including triage, analysis, and response to security events Secure and monitor AWS cloud environments, ensuring compliance and threat visibility Utilize tools such as Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config to detect vulnerabilities and enforce security controls Escalate complex security incidents and document findings for continuous improvement and audit readiness Qualifications for the SOC Analyst II•Secret Clearance include: 2+ years of experience as a SOC Analyst in a cybersecurity environment Hands-on experience analyzing alerts and logs within Splunk Experience securing AWS environments and working with cloud security tools Proficiency with security tools such as Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Config Active Secret Clearance Ability to work onsite 2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday) in Fulton, MD Compensation for the SOC Analyst II•Secret Clearance include: $105,000•120,000, based on experience
