Alpha Team Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as the Site Lead supporting our client in Linthicum Heights, MD. We are ideally looking to hire for a September 2026 start date, but are open to other arrangements. This position requires a deep understanding of DoD cybersecurity operations, proven experience managing large technical teams and high-value contracts, and hands-on expertise in incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis Primary Responsibilities Act as the Site Lead and primary point of contact on-site for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), overseeing the successful completion of work by all contractor team members. Manage a specialized technical team of 10 or more personnel and oversee contract efforts valued at $10 million or more. Provide expert systems engineering, technical analysis, and program management support for DC3 systems and capabilities. Provide hands-on technical expertise in incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis. Advise stakeholders on future architecture modifications, integration of architecture initiatives, and technology evaluations across the DoD. Ensure operations are optimally effective and supportable by evaluating technical resource allocations, evaluating prototypes/pilots, and creating transition plans to evolve them into full system functionality. Maintain a stable, highly qualified workforce, executing strategies to recruit, retain, and manage personnel with an employee turnover rate of 10% or less. Desired Experience Experience supporting DoD cyber operations, digital/multimedia forensics, law enforcement activities, or counterintelligence. Familiarity with PMBOK processes, SAFE Agile principles, and automated test processes transitioning to continuous integration/DevOps environments. Experience providing full-spectrum intelligence analysis, including generating intelligence collection requirements and producing complex "deep dives" on specific threats and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field combined with 10+ years of relevant technical experience (Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 18 years of relevant technical experience, or 22 years of relevant technical experience without a degree).

Certifications:

Must hold a current CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity certification.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations. 5+ years of experience leading cybersecurity teams specifically within a DoD environment. Proven experience managing teams of 10 or more people. Proven experience managing contracts valued at $10 million or more. Demonstrated hands-on experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
