In cloud security at PwC, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and elevating the security posture across our clients' cloud environments, covering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Your work will involve having a deep technical knowledge of cloud security and you will work with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to implement security protocols, monitor for potential security breaches, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing of cloud-based systems, and stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends in cloud technology. Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognising when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly communicate how things fit together. Your ability to develop and sustain high performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, and your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our Firm. The Opportunity As part of the Cybersecurity team, you will lead the development and implementation of thorough cloud security strategies. As a Senior Manager, you will serve as a strategic advisor, leveraging your knowledge to drive project success while innovating processes and maintaining operational excellence. This role offers the chance to work with advanced technologies and collaborate with prominent clients to deliver impactful results in a rapidly evolving field. Responsibilities Lead the creation and execution of cloud security strategies Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, enhancing project success Innovate processes to improve operational effectiveness Collaborate with advanced technologies to strengthen security measures Engage with prominent clients to deliver significant outcomes Analyze complex security challenges and propose viable solutions Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team Maintain compliance with industry standards and established practices What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree At least 8 years of experience What Sets You Apart Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems preferred Demonstrating leadership in cloud security strategy development - AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (GCP) Designing scalable security processes and governance approaches Architecting secure cloud network architectures and IAM strategies Implementing cloud data governance and protection controls Developing automated enforcement mechanisms for cloud security governance Educating teams on secure coding and cloud security practices Managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms Performing Microsoft 365 security assessments and driving remediation initiatives The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
