Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-performance detection platform while contributing to innovative security solutions. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a high-throughput detection platform, ensuring its reliability and performance. Design and operate secure secrets management workflows, including the implementation of encryption proxies. Optimize database schemas and improve query performance for data storage solutions. Troubleshoot and enhance high-throughput data pipelines, focusing on effective instrumentation and monitoring. Contribute to engineering excellence by refining CI/CD pipelines and improving test coverage. Skills 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend systems. Proficiency in Go programming language with a strong understanding of its core concepts. Experience with database management, specifically Postgres, including migrations and performance tuning. Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka and their application in data processing. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with security and cryptography, particularly in designing Vault integrations. Knowledge of detection engines and string-search algorithms. Familiarity with Docker and workflow orchestration tools. Basic understanding of observability tools and metrics instrumentation.
