Team Overview The Team Leader, Security Engineering leads a team of associates and contractors responsible for the availability, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical security platforms. This role balances people leadership with technical oversight, ensuring secure, reliable operations while advancing team capabilities and aligning with the firm's strategic objectives. The Team Leader partners closely across technology, business, and vendor teams and plays a key role in developing future leaders within Security Engineering. What You'll Do Lead and support a team responsible for security technologies across Email, Network, and Cloud Security platforms, including operations, enhancements, and incident response. Align team priorities, processes, and deliverables with the firm's strategic direction and security objectives. Drive continuous improvement of team processes such as resource management, support models, and delivery practices. Provide coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback to develop associates and build a strong succession pipeline. Ensure high quality and timely execution of projects, enhancements, and production support activities. Partner effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet operational and security goals. Lead escalations and respond to system availability or security issues with appropriate urgency and accountability. What Experience You'll Need Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in technology or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Information Systems or technology roles, with 3+ years in a leadership or lead‑level capacity. Experience working in Information Systems or Technology roles supporting enterprise platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or guide others (formal or informal leadership experience). Working knowledge of security‑related technologies or systems and how they integrate with broader infrastructure. Ability to make sound day‑to‑day decisions, manage escalations, and align solutions to business objectives. Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships across teams and with vendors. What Could Set You Apart Experience with Email Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, or similar platforms. Familiarity with system development and delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, change management, QA, project lifecycle). Ability to develop and communicate meaningful platform metrics and business impact. Series 7 license (valued but not required) •Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026.
