Technology Support Manager Keep Supply - 4.1 Springfield, MO Job Details $80,000 - $90,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Unlimited paid time off Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship building Financial forecasting Budget forecasting Budget planning Team management Technology budget management Financial management Project leadership Debugging Cross-functional communication
Full Job Description Description:
The Role The Technology Support Manager owns the strategy, execution, and reliability of Keep Supply's internal IT environment. This isn't a "keep the lights on" role — it's a leadership position for someone who sees technology infrastructure as a competitive advantage and has the drive to build it that way. You'll lead a small team (1 Junior Tech Generalist today), with the expectation that you'll eventually hire and build a team to scale with Keep. This is hands-on work and requires a builder, player-coach mindset. You will be in charge of growing and coaching direct reports, but also bringing considerable experience to advise the Director of Technology and recommend direction for IT systems. You will be responsible to identify and mitigate risk, increase efficiency, and be the primary selector for new IT systems. You'll be writing scripts, managing identity and endpoints, hardening security, and forecasting your own spend in our Great Game of Business huddles. You'll report directly to the Director of Technology and serve as a key partner across departments — translating business needs into technical solutions, and technical risks into language that leadership can act on. What You'll Own Keep's internal infrastructure: network, endpoints, identity, MDM. Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of technology generalists. Own the internal technology spend forecast, participate in the GGOB huddle cadence, and be accountable to your numbers Own the roadmap for system upgrades, architecture improvements, and tooling optimization across the organization Drive security initiatives end-to-end — risk identification, mitigation, policy, and compliance Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and cross-departmental technology needs Partner with the Director of Technology to align IT investments with business priorities Establish and enforce standards, documentation practices, and operational runbooks Identify automation and efficiency opportunities — if something is being done manually more than twice, ask why Manage vendor relationships and technology contracts Maintain deep familiarity with our core stack: Google Cloud/Workspace, Ubiquiti networking, Brightpearl, Salesforce, Magento (run by our outsourced technology partner), and Ossus (our Python middleware)
Requirements:
What We're Looking For 5+ years in IT, infrastructure, or systems administration — with at least 2 years leading or mentoring others Must be comfortable learning or have experience with Macbook management, as 70% of our systems are Macbooks. Proven ability to manage projects from scoping through delivery without being pushed. Solid cybersecurity knowledge, not framework recitation. Experience managing cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred) Comfortable owning a budget and forecast — you can defend your numbers and adjust when the business changes Strong communicator — you can brief a non-technical leader and debug a switch port on the same afternoon. You don't wait to be told something is broken. You already saw it coming. Bonus Points Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail IT environments Familiarity with
ERP/PIM/CRM
systems and their integrations Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Certifications in Google Cloud, security (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.), or project management
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$80,000-$90,00/year plus opportunity for bonus
Health Insurance:
100% paid medical, dental, and vision coverage — for you and your family
Time Off:
Unlimited PTO Location:
