Role Summary A senior network security engineer responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of advanced enterprise network security solutions within a complex, global environment. This role focuses on modernizing security infrastructure, ensuring operational resilience, and integrating automation and zero trust architecture principles. The position offers a strategic opportunity to collaborate across teams to safeguard critical systems and enterprise connectivity at scale. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage enterprise network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxy technologies, remote access, NAC, and network segmentation. Support large-scale production network security environments with an emphasis on stability, security, resiliency, scalability, and performance optimization. Enforce security standards, policies, and baseline configurations across enterprise networks. Lead and support automation initiatives utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and DevSecOps methodologies. Develop automation solutions using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform. Partner with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams to design and deploy integrated security solutions. Execute complex production changes within structured change management and governance frameworks. Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical network security events. Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, standards, diagrams, and compliance reporting. Participate in architecture discussions around zero trust, secure access, segmentation, and enterprise security modernization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline. 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale security infrastructure, architecture, or operations in complex environments. Hands-on expertise with firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure remote access, proxy solutions, NAC, and segmentation platforms. Proven experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Deep understanding of risk management, incident response, security governance, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Strong technical skills in network security technologies, including zero trust principles and secure enterprise network design. Experience supporting critical production environments with troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with effective collaboration across multiple teams. Ability to lead initiatives and execute in fast-paced enterprise settings.
Publishing Pay Range:
$63.15 - $65.61 hourly This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
