Albany, NY Responsibilities:

Provide expert level patch management and automation support. Perform as primary Patching Specialist in a large enterprise environment. Perform Patch management tasks to include: maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are installed properly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures. Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format. Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact. Communicate the risk of security vulnerabilities to internal stakeholders. Leverage technology and scripted processes to reduce human interaction in managed processes.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience using BigFix for patching Experience in patching Linux and Windows servers Experience in identifying gaps and risks on systems and making recommendation on remediating solutions Experience in generating and compiling vulnerability and threat reporting metrics Knowledge of Vulnerability Management Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint Strong social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively present analytical data to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences RAM#
