Security Business Manager Jewish Federation of Cleveland - 3.7 Cleveland, OH Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Bachelor's degree Full Job Description JFC Security, LLC contracts with Jewish Federation of Cleveland's Finance and Human Resources Departments to provide a wide variety of HR and Finance support functions. This position will work directly with the Finance Department to prepare budgets and reports, as well as oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable and risk, vendor, project, and grant management. This dual role also manages, with the support of JFC Human Resources, the administration of the human resources policies and procedures and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits, recruiting and onboarding; compliance with regulatory concerns and reporting; company employee communication; records management and general administrative support as required. This position reports to the
Senior Vice President Essential Job Functions:
Finance Oversight of all business-related aspects of JFC Security, LLC including payables and receivables. Budgeting and financial reporting. Monthly review of payroll reports to ensure accurate billing of contracted clients for hours provided. Communicates with contracted clients on charges and bill payments. Coordination with local municipalities to ensure timely payment of off-duty officers. Responsible for grant management, including adherence to grant purchasing procedures, reporting, and submission of grant reimbursement requests. Risk management - coordinate purchase of insurance, contract review, and adherence to policies and procedures. Human Resources Using research and best practices, create compliance updates for personnel policies and procedures, including updates to the Employee Handbook, for review by senior management and legal team. Where needed, administer benefits programs as well as 403b defined contribution plan, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment process, utilizing ADP. Collaborate with the Deputy Director of Operations during the recruitment process. Coordinate onboarding for all new JFC Security staff, including: Ensure new hire documents for security officers are complete. Plan new employee orientation for new security staff to foster understanding of the community and positive attitude toward organization goals. Keep orientation process up to date, both online via payroll HRIS system, and for 1:1 meetings for orientation. Coordinate injury and incident reporting to legal, medical center and to worker's compensation TPA.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with internal and external business partners and employees. Strong organizational skills. Ability to set priorities and maintain composure under stress. Results oriented. Proficient with Microsoft Office, applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn other relevant software systems and databases as needed. Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Knowledge and understanding of the Jewish community, culture and traditions is helpful. Education, Training and/or
