IAM Security Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking an IAM Security Consultant with strong expertise in IBM identity and access management solutions. This role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing identity governance platforms, ensuring secure access management, and supporting enterprise IAM operations. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IAM capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and support implementation and maintenance of identity governance solutions using IBM Security Verify Governance Design, configure, and manage IAM solutions aligned with security and compliance requirements Integrate IAM systems with enterprise applications and infrastructure Analyze and troubleshoot complex IAM issues to ensure system stability and performance Provide L2/L3 support for IAM incidents using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow Monitor service levels and ensure timely resolution of issues Manage system upgrades, patching, backups, and routine maintenance activities Develop and execute test scripts for validating integrations and system changes Perform coding, unit testing, and impact analysis for enhancements and fixes Maintain documentation including SOPs, KPIs, and technical artifacts Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and distributed teams Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM workflows and governance Provide on-call and weekend support as required Lead project meetings and ensure effective communication across IAM initiatives Required Qualifications Strong experience with IBM IAM tools, including IBM Security Verify Governance, IBM ISIM, and

IBM ISAM

Experience in identity lifecycle management, access certifications, and role management Hands-on experience providing L2/L3 support in IAM environments Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow Strong understanding of IAM architecture, security best practices, and compliance requirements Experience with system integrations, testing, and troubleshooting Strong scripting or development experience for IAM enhancements (as applicable) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and distributed teams Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise-scale IAM environments Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and security standards Experience leading IAM projects or initiatives Strong documentation and process improvement skills
