) Employment Type Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Systems Administrator & Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, security, assessment, and auditing of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environments for internal systems and client environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in systems administration, cybersecurity operations, compliance frameworks, and infrastructure management. This individual must be capable of supporting organizations through cybersecurity compliance initiatives while maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable systems. ResponsibilitiesSystems Administration & Infrastructure
Deploy, configure, and manage Windows and Linux servers
Deploy and manage virtual machines and virtualization platforms
Administer Active Directory environments
Manage DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain services
Maintain and troubleshoot server, storage, and endpoint environments
Configure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems
Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle maintenance Cybersecurity Operations
Deploy, configure, and manage EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solutions
Deploy, configure, and manage MDR (Managed Detection & Response) solutions
Deploy, configure, and manage SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) platforms
Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analyses
Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and alerts
Implement cybersecurity best practices and hardening standards
Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, policies, and procedures Compliance & Governance
Assist organizations in achieving and maintaining compliance with frameworks such as
CMMC, NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CIS
Controls, and others
Perform control assessments and gap analyses
Support remediation planning and implementation
Prepare documentation and evidence for audits and assessments Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace Administration
Experience implementing identity, access, MFA, conditional access, and data protection policies across cloud platforms
Ability to configure, secure, audit, and troubleshoot cloud productivity and collaboration platforms
Experience managing and supporting Google Workspace environments including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Admin Console, user provisioning, and security policies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and security administration Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in systems administration and/or cybersecurity
Strong experience with Active Directory and domain administration
Strong experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management
Experience with server deployment and virtualization technologies
Hands-on experience with EDR, MDR, SIEM, and endpoint security tools
Experience conducting security auditing and compliance assessments
Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including CMMC, NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
Experience securing Windows and Linux environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Clean driving record. Must possess a valid drivers license. Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, Microsoft certifications, or CMMC-related certifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliances
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python Security Requirements
Must be eligible to pass a Federal Background Check
