You will evaluate services in the handling and assessment of cybersecurity incidents and advise the department throughout the incident and during the postmortem phase. The engagement might include assisting the department in the establishment of a comprehensive information security and technology examination program. These efforts include but are not limited to the following areas:

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advisory services for Cybersecurity examinations.
• Coach on the assessment of an organization's cyber defense policies, configurations and evaluating compliance with relevant Cybersecurity standards.

• Provide guidance on how to perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop security risk management plans.
• Provide guidance on how to perform risk analysis (e.g., threat, vulnerability, and probability of occurrence).
• Provide comprehensive overviews of examination procedures to collect and analyze data with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate the adequacy of security policies and standards relative to the risk profile of an organization.
• Review collected data, documentation and determined an organization's cybersecurity posture.
• Verify application software/network/ system security postures are implemented as stated, documenting deviations, and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Seven (7) years' experience in Information Security or IT Risk Management with CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or GRCP certification(s) preferred.
• Strong background in IT controls assessment, technology risk management, and compliance functions.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing risk management strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Solid understanding of business continuity planning and its integration with IT systems.
• Reside within driving distance of Los Angeles and/or Sacramento CA metropolitan area.

This is approximately 10 hours/week for 12 months . You will import and set up ongoing replication from our on-premises Program data warehouse as well as Salesforce Cloud. Transaction data from the data warehouse must then be merged with customer and program account data from Salesforce and then optimized for ingestion into analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions
• Advise the agency staff on best practices for ongoing replication from both on-prem and cloud sources including Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, AWS and other Cloud data sources used by the County .
• Update Microsoft PowerBI report source queries from Oracle to Snowflake .

Qualifications :
