In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security Review and correlate security logs Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Key Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Linux engineering or administration experience Automation and scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Excel VBA, or JavaScript Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana, Splunk, Elastic, AppDynamics, or similar) Experience working with OpenShift (OCP) or Kubernetes-based platforms Experience with automation and GenAI tools (OpenAI, Copilot, or similar LLM-based solutions) Experience with SailPoint or similar Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms Experience working with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Ability to perform root cause analysis in complex distributed systems Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in high‑demand environments Experience developing runbooks, operational documentation, or process automations Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
