Day One:
Join our training series and contribute to our mission of government transparency. You'll quickly gain hands-on experience, working under direct supervision and collaborating with experienced IT auditors to deliver valuable results within time and budget constraints. Learn to design audit plans to address the key risks identified by the financial and compliance auditors. Uncover the relevant information needed for the scope of the audit. Analyze manual and automated workflows to build a complete and accurate understanding of the targeted area. Deliver reliable and understandable results. Document relevant information, ensure solid support for audit results and facilitate clear communication with all parties. Deliver reliable assurance by testing controls, both automated and manual, to validate their effectiveness in supporting the audit scope. ========IT Auditor4 are for SAO internal candidates only========== IT Auditor4 (Exempt) The IT Auditor 4 is a specialized expert in our IT Auditor classification series and serves as lead auditor of the largest and most complex system reviews which may involve multiple state agencies, local governments or cut across different levels of government. This position has overall responsibility for each assigned IT audit engagement or project from planning, development of statewide IT testing strategies, conducting, and overseeing the implementation of audit methodologies, and audit reporting for state or local government IT audits. May lead audits or projects that include multiple IT audit staff or highly technical IT environments. Promotion to IT Auditor 4 requires obtaining a certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or technical equivalent certification, to be eligible for any IT Auditor 4 inter-agency career advancement posting opportunities.
Job Qualification Requirement:
To be considered for an IT Auditor4 position, the SAO candidate must have successfully achieved consistent high rankings as an Assistant State Auditor3+ and have an ITLT approved IT4 pre-approved proposal. Job Qualification Requirementsfor the IT4
AI System Audit Specialist:
Has developed skills and knowledge beyond the expectations of an IT Auditor 3+ in relationship to auditing AI specific system applications.
Has completed the following:
Identified appropriate framework criteria for auditing AI systems. Created a risk assessment specifically to identify key risks associated with AI systems. Created comprehensive testing strategies for auditing AI system. Presented the completion of their proposal to ITA Leadership Team (ITLT).
