This position reports to the Manager of Covert Operations of Lockheed Martin's Red Team within the Corporate Information Security Intelligence, Readiness and Response (IR2) Organization. This role consists of leading and conducting exploitation and penetration testing, research, and development in support of the LM Enterprise, products, programs, and technologies. You will assess whether exploitation or malicious attack vectors exist and implement mitigations which strengthen our overall security posture; making it harder for cyber adversaries to exploit our systems. Be a part of a team that cyber tests state-of-the-art military technology which Lockheed Martin proudly produces and supports! The role is focused specifically on supporting cyber exploitation penetration testing leveraging a wide range of known or custom-built testing tactics, techniques, and procedures with the main purpose of identifying security rigor, attack vectors, and effective remediation steps. Analytical and creative thinking as well as the ability to lead and drive assignments to closure are required for this role. Collaboration and interaction with technical and senior level partners on significant business, technical and information security matters will deliver positive business results. The position entails regularly conducting penetration testing, red teaming activities and coordinating across multiple organizations in support of critical business and enterprise-wide initiatives. The responsibilities of this role have impact on LM's environments and contracts within Lockheed Martin's locations, business areas and business units. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical cyber background and demonstrated experience to hit the ground running and contribute to assigned penetration testing engagements. This is a Hybrid role (Part-time Telecommuting) with a strong preference for close physical proximity to our facilities listed below. Alignment to other major LM facilities MAY be considered.Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with the following:
- Conducting hands-on-keyboard penetration tests
- Penetration testing of Web applications and its various components (Injection, XSS, validation, session mgmt, web services, hosting, web traffic analysis, etc)
- Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Grep/Sed/Awk, etc) including work on offensive cyber tools
- Networking knowledge
- understand networking essentials, data flows, architecture, protocols, traffic, wireless, etc.
- Understanding of how AI systems operate, and beginner ability to attack against AI
- Operating System knowledge and practical experience in various Windows and Linux, OS configuration, file system structures, OS components, mobile operating systems etc.
- Ability to obtain & retain a DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to travel (20%)
Desired Skills:
- Active DoD Clearance
- Effective documentation and verbal communication skills
- Experience leveraging AI in offensive operations, including assessing and exploiting AI systems, models, and guardrails
- Understanding of intrusion tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) with the ability to emulate these TTP to assess vulnerability and risk
- Familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity; Offensive attack hacker mindset
- Experience in exploiting web apps and web services security vulnerabilities including cross-site scripting, cross site request forgery, SQL injection, DoS attacks, XML/SOAP, and API attacks.
- Application Analysis
- Fuzzing, Reverse Engineering, Disassembling (IDA, OllyDbg)
- Experience with security tools such as
- Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro, etc., as well as other various testing tools
- Experience with the cyber kill chain, and hands on experience executing from beginning to end

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,900- $146,165.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
