Full Job Description Security Engineer Location:
Los Altos, CA (Hybrid•2 days onsite: Tuesday & Wednesday)
Schedule:
4x10 shift (Fridays off) | Overtime may be required
Duration:
6-Month Contract with potential extension or full-time conversion We are seeking a mid-level Security Engineer to support a fast-paced, research-driven environment. This role focuses on implementing practical security solutions while enabling engineering and research teams to work efficiently and securely.
Technical Experience:
GitHub Advanced Security Security Scorecard Checkmarx AWS security experience (highly preferred) o IAMo Cloud security best practiceso Security monitoring and controls within AWS environment Required Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in Security Engineering or cybersecurity-related roles Strong knowledge of system security, network security, and security best practices Experience with: GitHub Advanced Security Security Scorecard ( Required ) Checkmarx ( Required ) AWS security experience preferred, including IAM and cloud security controls Strong communication and collaboration skills Must have:
