As part of the commercial segment of Everforth, we are committed to driving the next wave of global IT services and digital transformation.\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nUnder the CIO, the Senior Director Information Security, is responsible for the security of Everforth Apex Systems computer systems and networks. This role implements security measures that effectively safeguard sensitive data in the event of a cyber-attack or other threats. The role is highly collaborative, involving frequent interaction with various members of the IT team. They lead the information security team to support security tools and technologies such as firewall, proxy server, remote access, and others. The role must document configurations and network designs to ensure the security programs effective protection and execution.\nThis role conducts log analysis and other network forensic investigations. They will lead the Everforth Apex teams as they participate in cyber investigations. The Sr Director will research and investigate the potential impact of new threats and exploits. They will guide the company in examining and developing networks security solutions. They provide advice on vulnerabilities or potential vulnerabilities within architecture. The professional will analyze any security-related data from a wide range of security products and devices.\nThe role will design and implement enhanced detention technologies. They organize security research and document the findings for the future perusal by a senior engineer and security architects. This person will conduct risk analysis and offers suggestions for remediation or mitigation. It is the duty of the Senior Director Information Security to identify, design and execute on security projects that improve detection and response capabilities. The professional work in coordination application and infrastructure teams to design applications to protect against attackers.\nThe Senior Director of Information Security, CISO takes care of the infrastructure, network and supporting software related to the infrastructure. The professionals collect threat intelligence and automate systems to consume threat feeds and track adversaries. The professionals should have prior experience in handling physical security reviews and dealing with different groups of technical personnel. They must locate and resolve complex control scenarios. The role will be able to handle risks associated with global operations, offshoring, or outsourcing.\n\nIn addition, the Senior Director Information Security, CISO will prepare materials and presentations for the CIO as required for executive and board reviews. The individual may be asked to present these updates to that group as appropriate.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tProvide support and oversight of all IT Security related services and applications\n\tProvide insight to new security practices, applications, and designs for the company\n\tLead the organization to ensure the organization is up to date on the most appropriate security solutions and practices\n\tReview Contracts and Vendors for adherence to current security standards and perform a risk analysis of those vendors\n\tOversight and support of the IT Security & Compliance team\n\n\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\n\n\n\tBachelor's Degree in Computer Operations, Information Security, Information Technology or related field\n\tA certification such as CISSP is desired but not required\n\t6+ years experience in a security engineer or operations position\n\tExperience with many security products and applications (Firewalls, SEIM, NAC, MFA, cloud security, etc.)\n\tSuperior oral communication and interpersonal skills required\n\tDetail-oriented individual with excellent work/time organizational skills and analytical and problem-solving skills are essential\n\tTake personal ownership (going beyond assigned tasks to make projects better, identifies and reports issues, demonstrates strong concern for client and initiatives)\n\tThe employee must be a team player with initiative and self-motivation; must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and interpret written policies; must be flexible in accepting frequent change in priorities and possessing the ability to coordinate tasks under critical time demands\n\tThis will be a hybrid role in Richmond\n\n\nOUR
