Job Description
Project Manager - Commercial Low-voltage Security Systems $60,000 plus bonuses and commissions We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial low-voltage and security system projects. This role manages projects from pre-construction and estimating through procurement, installation coordination, project closeout, and final billing. The ideal candidate has experience managing security or low-voltage construction projects and is comfortable coordinating field teams, vendors, and customers while ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities Review project scope with sales team and confirm project requirements Interpret construction drawings and specifications Prepare proposals, estimates, and system designs Procure materials and coordinate equipment deliveries Schedule and coordinate installation crews Conduct project kickoff meetings and site visits Monitor project schedule, costs, and overall profitability Maintain communication with customers and contractors throughout project lifecycle Submit product data, shop drawings, and project documentation Manage change orders and project billing Oversee project closeout and final acceptance Requirements 3+ years experience in project management, estimating, or sales within the low-voltage/security industry Experience with systems such as: CCTV Access control Alarm systems Gate or barrier systems Structured cabling Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software Preferred Qualifications Construction or engineering degree (preferred but not required) Existing relationships within the Mid-South market preferred Key Skills Project scheduling and coordination Cost control and margin management Customer communication Problem solving and troubleshooting Managing multiple projects simultaneously Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401K Paid Time Off Vehicle Allowance Company phone/laptop Quarterly bonuses We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
