Job Description
Cybersecurity Engineer
As a cyber operations engineer at Booz Allen, you'll develop innovative solutions to complex cyber risk problems, manage evaluation and accreditation of client systems, and apply technical solutions working in cloud environments. You'll work with various teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your client's needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go w the industry is going. As a team, we'll take a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs.
This is a chance to learn from a team of experts as you make a difference in the security of critical infrastructure. Your contributions will help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. You Have:
Experience securing Cloud infrastructure and applications in AWS GovCloudExperience with ACAS vulnerability scans, Nessus Manager, and vulnerability mitigation and patchingExperience with C5ISR, HBSS, EPO, McAfee, or TrellixExperience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and applying themExperience with DoD Risk Management Framework and DoD Cloud Computing SRG requirementsExperience decomposing high-level operational requirements into functional definitions, verification objectives, and full system specifications, and identifying enabling and critical technologies, constraints, and risksKnowledge of ATOs, IATTs, and ATCsSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeand 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, or 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity in lieu of degreeDoD 8570IAT Level II CertificationNice If You Have:
Experience analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagramsExperience with automation or scriptingKnowledge of Azure, Google, or Oracle CloudKnowledge of network security and incident response proceduresKnowledge of Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows ServerKnowledge of artificial intelligenceAWS CertificationClearance:
